The Great Storm Expedition is a party that began on April 6th, 2014 and ended on April 20, 2014. Rookie is the mascot, as confirmed by the Penguin Style catalog. The name was confirmed in a login screen that showed Paige in a snowstorm. She and Tusk are also visiting.

Storyline

A massive storm hits the island, so shelters are built, and a quest begins to head into the avalanche to find Ice Puffles. Mascots open their igloos in order for others to stay warm.

Notes

• A sneak peek was tweeted in March showing Paige in an icy cave, but the puffles in her arms were blurred out, thus an unknown color. These were the Ice Puffles.
• Paige confirmed in a meetup that there could be a new puffle discovered in April.
• Rookie gave a hint to players on Flippr that in April there would be lots of snow.
• The Recycling Plant was closed
